I laughed when I saw this video of a conversation between a three year old and her mother.
Thanks to Andy for pointing me to it.

Hair Clutz
I cut my hair on Sunday.
Mwahahaha!
I went from looking wild and woolly to just wild. Either people don't notice the change or are too polite to mention it.

Shakespearean
I had to laugh when I passed the old Romeo's Pizza site on Johnson Street. A condominium is being built there. It's called the Juliette.

What do you do when you have to shop and your dog isn't allowed to walk in the store? Give him a ride of course!

Sick But Still Laughing
I wasn't feeling well today and I have been resting. My sense of humour is still intact though and I laughed watching "Dailyshow on Viacom Vs Google". This one's for Nic and Brian and everyone else who makes me laugh.
Update: March 26 - this was removed today after a complaint from Viacom. The joke in the skit was that most people were watching this on YouTube. :)

Fun With Dogs
Regular readers know I have a soft spot for dogs. I don't own one myself but I get my puppy fix by talking with dog owners (and their dogs) on the street and watching cool videos.
Recently Men-a-men has been making short videos of Bo. We can see that Bo gets lots of exercise. Bo also likes to play soccer.
Here is another dog that likes to play soccer... virtual soccer. (via)
Men-a-men likes bowling and I wonder if Bo would like to try it.
The following video shows a dog that likes bowling... and insists on being the bowling 'ball'!
These videos show that dogs are fun to have around.

Billy Da Blogger
I have been busy with volunteering and other activities when offline. Online I have been busy with several blog projects I'll mention in another post. Sometimes I have been feeling tired.
Billy has been a big help by posting to 2 Lazy 4 Video and making me laugh. Today, for example, he wrote what has to be the oddest introduction to a blog I have seen.
^__^ We are (not) serious bloggers sometimes.

Funny English
One of the benefits of creating Big Blog Directory has been finding interesting new blogs. One of these is called Have Fun With English. The blog has many jokes and puns.
I haven't read everything yet but I have found some great posts. Check out this one and this one.
PS: I don't think 'Booger Gizzardsniffer' would look good on my resume. ^__^

Firemind Cinema 19: The Comedy Special
Welcome to Firemind Cinema's Comedy Special. I watched a funny music video called 'Shoes' and decided to include it in a Cinema. I started to think about the video's comedy aspects and this got me thinking about television programs that have made me laugh. Since I like American, British, and Canadian comedy I have included examples of each type.
Shoes
Shoes - Length: 03:51 - Kelly is the creation of Liam Sullivan. She is a shoe obsessed teen and has her own MySpace page. The music is catchy and the video well paced. Note: Strong language.
If I were to label 'Shoes' I would call it 'Modern Internet' in the sense that many people will discover it online at YouTube or MySpace. It is short, sassy and Youth-oriented. These traits, plus the fact that it is a music video, make it a reflection of our times.
In Living Color
In Living Color was an American comedy show that broke many rules. I remember watching a skit after the LA Riots in which Jim Carey played Reginald Denney and danced to 'Achy Breaky Head'. I remember laughing and feeling an odd mix of guilt and chagrin about feeling guilty.
My favourite sketches featured Blaine and Antoine: the gay film critics. They were funny and irreverent.
Men on Films - In Living Color - Length: 03:47
Benny Hill
I first encountered Benny Hill when I went to university and saw it on an American TV station. Late at night several of us students would eat popcorn and watch old shows including this one. I was already a fan of British comedy and Benny Hill became one of my favourite shows. 'The Messenger' is an example of the silent Chaplin-like slapstick that Hill was good at.
Benny Hill - The Messenger - Length: 04:39
Wayne and Shuster
Wayne and Shuster were a Canadian comedy duo. I remember watching their specials on CBC when I was growing up. I liked them even though I usually preferred British or American comedy to Canadian shows.
I found two funny videos. The first is a parody of Shakespeare and the second a parody of Star Trek. The remaining parts of 'Star Shtick' can be found linked from the YouTube listing. The full sketch lasts around 30 minutes.
The Shakespearean Baseball Game - Length: 07:51
Wayne & Shuster's "Star Shtick" Part 1 of 4 - Length: 07:50
Well, I hope you enjoyed this special edition of Firemind Cinema.
Cheers.

Cerebrum Posterior Noise
Gah, I have been playing Civ 4 and was going to blog about it. Well I'll have to do it later because my mind blew a brainfart. What a fast way to lose ambition and concentration. LOL. I guess I will go see a dumb movie to let the old think-tank rest and recuperate.
Cheers.

Peeking
Somebody was checking me out while I was eating Chinese food. I checked back and thought, "hmmm, not bad".
Can romance begin with chow mein? Can chopsticks be erotic?
Mwahahaha, I am so strange.
