OTTAWA (CP) - The last major threat to same-sex marriage rights in Canada was soundly defeated in the House of Commons on Thursday, with MPs sending the message they don't want to revisit the emotional, divisive debate.

I am glad it is over and I am happy with the result.

Love And Intolerance

I found this music video a few days ago and have been thinking about it.

It is set in Iceland in the 1950'’s or '60's and it deals with the themes of love and intolerance. The song is called "Vidrar Vel Til Loftarasa" and it is by the Icelandic band Sigur Ros.
