Blog Poll

I created a blog poll for BBD and posted a link in the sidebar of this blog. Check it out.

Busy And Interesting Times

I woke up and checked on my computer. The maintenance scan was done so I could resume work on my projects.

I just listed another blog at BBD. This brings the total to 31. After a lull I am getting busy again. I am waiting for several people at Flickr to submit information too.

I have been busy experimenting with the new Blogger. I putter in my test blogs and then write up posts at BBD. I have been learning a lot and enjoying myself. So much of my writing is now blog related most of it goes to my other blogs. Maybe I can find some enlightened angst for Firemind.

Offline I have been asked to work on a website. I am checking to see what the person wants to decide if I can do the job. If it is basic and includes a blog then I think I could do it.

How A Mistake Lead To A Great Idea

I just finished writing an interesting post at BBD. It is called Search Google Using Blogger Labels.

This is an example of learning something by accident. I knew I was on to something when I was researching this topic last night. I refined some search terms and accidentally searched in Google Internet Search instead of Google Blog Search. I realized what happened but noticed a correct "hit". I knew what to do next and soon everything fell into place.

Good Information For Students And Bloggers

Last night I wrote a post at BBD called "Information Links For Bloggers". In the post are numerous links to informative websites. The websites are quite varied and most of them are great for kids.

For Kids:

BBC - Prehistoric Life - check out the Games & Quizzes section.

Educational Web Adventures - has activity and game links. Check out: U-505 On-line Activities and hunt for a German submarine or take a trip to study Black Holes.

Visit Shamanism - Working With Animal Spirits and look at the beautiful photos and check out the animal sounds. There is also a section about baby animals and another with dinosaurs.

Have fun exploring the sites!

Cheers.

Introducing: Big Blog Directory

Big Blog Directory is a blog that uses Blogger Labels (tags) to help readers find interesting blogs to read. Readers can search for blogs using labels based on content and/or location. Only those blogs that are being updated will be listed. Dead blogs will be deleted.

The service is free although I would appreciate a reciprocal link.

Bloggers are welcome to submit blogs from any blog service (Blogger, Diaryland, Xanga, etc). I will check out submissions and approve or deny them as soon as possible after receiving them.

Some blogs may not be accepted. If the blog is password protected, or locks up my browser repeatedly, or is a spam blog, it won't get listed.

List your blog today and get noticed.
