Quiet

It is quiet and peaceful right now. I am feeling quiet too but not so peaceful.

I wrote a few posts in 2 Lazy 2 Blog last night and this morning. Several things kept me busy.

I am still having problems with Gaim and found out that the bug is being worked on by the programs developers. Now I am getting booted out of AIM periodically. Meh.

I am working on a blog post idea/project and it seems to be taking forever. I think it's cool but also find working on it depressing sometimes.

Being quiet is okay as is being at peace. Knowing that my emotions could boil over is a little distressing. I accept how I feel and understand why I am feeling this way, but I am leery of making a scene.

Am I dissatisfied, lonesome, depressed, or all of the above? Or none? I am not really brooding as much as trying to recognize what I am feeling.

I sit...

feeling alone...

knowing that my thoughts...

won't be read for hours.

That is good in a way because by then my mood will have changed. Comments or a lack of them won't make things worse... or better.

These are my emotions. I claim them. I don't feel ill because of them. I feel healthy because I recognize them and can control them.

Fun And Gaims 2

This was to be part of the previous post but I got sidetracked by a chat, music, and Gaim (*&%# again!).

I first learned about Tegan and Sara through Shogun and I liked their music. Last night I heard one of their songs for the first time and I am hooked.

Last night I used Meebo to talk to an AIM contact and liked it, Meebo is nice. The only problem is that you need to keep your browser open.

I had a chat using MSN Messenger and that was okay but I missed the way Gaim works. I decided to try puttering with Gaim again and found I could load AIM and GoogleTalk but if I loaded MSN Gaim crashed.

Microsoft may be tweaking MSN code again and it will take time for Gaim to catch up. I can use it for my other accounts though. I wish these programs worked better together.

Fun And Gaims 1

I was happy to get out and do some banking and shopping today. It was nice and sunny but not too hot.

I stopped in at Zydeco and had fun looking at the weird stuff. They have rubber duckies of many types. Hippies, bikers and so on - but no Emo Duckies. They also have Jesus action figures and other fun stuff.

I checked on the book "Once Were Warriors" and it is available, but only in trade paperback so I will check used book stores.

When I was walking to Zydeco I saw a young woman walking her ferret. It was quite friendly when I petted it. I had to stop it from crawling up my pant-leg!

Tonight I tried to get Gaim working again but was unable to. I uninstalled it and cleaned out related files and re-downloaded the Exe and installed again. I still get the same error so I may have to clean the registry entries or try another IM client.
