Movie Makers and Game Players

Movie Makers

I was walking to Subway for supper when I saw a whole bunch of trailers and other equipment parked on the street. It turns out that my neighbourhood will be used to film a movie. This is the second time that this has happened.

The movie is 'The Survivors Club' and it will appear on CBS. I may keep an eye out for the 'sniper' and the 'exploding' car. We could use some 'excitement' on my street.

Game Players

After doing some Internet surfing and checking my email I loaded 'Rise Of Nations' and got into a long fight with the Nubians. I am playing the Bantu – they are ok but aren't one of my favourites. I will continue the battle after I finish updating my diary.

I am trying another 'player' tonight in that I am using OpenOffice.org as my word processing program. I could have reloaded Works 6 or Textshield but I wanted to try Open Office. I will also use this program when I start using Linux. Unlike my RoN game however there are no losers in this battle. Microsoft got some of my business in the past and now somebody else does. I 'win' if I find a program I like and use it.
