Happy Benny Day

Sunday is 'Benny Day' for me. I like to go to the James Bay Tea Room and have Eggs Benedict. The Benny special today was 'bacon and tomato'. It was good.

The 'tea room' is a nice place to eat and there are many pictures to look at. I haven't tried afternoon tea yet.

After brunch I walked up Menzies towards the Inner Harbour. I talked to a fellow walking his dog and then stopped to pet one of the carriage horses owned by Black Beauty Line.

I had a chocolate sundae at the Inner Harbour and walked along the wharf at Ships Point. I talked with a man on a Seiner for a while. He had won one of the lotteries to go fishing for Sockeye Salmon in Barkley Sound. I asked how long he expected to be there and he replied,"Until I fill the quota I was given. It could be twenty minutes or a full day."

After leaving Ships Point I slowly wandered home. There is nothing like a leisurely walk in Victoria to make one feel good.
