A Pleasant Day

Sometimes I need to get out and look around. Having a camera helps a lot because I go look at things rather than just windowshop or spend money. Last Sunday I went out and wandered around my neighbourhood (James Bay) taking pictures. This was a nice change from photographing downtown.

I took some macro shots and they turned out nicely. For the best view click on the pictures and select the largest resolution. Most of the plants had raindrops on them. This makes the pics more interesting.

I came across a very busy bird feeder and stayed a while taking pictures. The smaller birds were flitting back and forth and losing seed in the process. Pigeons were gobbling up the seed on the ground.

I eventually made my way to Dallas Road and the sea. I contemplated that soon I will have photographed 'all' of James Bay. Of course, I said to myself, there will always be some surprises.

I took some pictures of the setting sun. They were nice but not spectacular. As it got darker my camera had trouble focusing on the horizon. I decided it was time to go home and crossed Dallas Road heading north. Something made me turn back and I saw this:

Sunday was certainly a pleasant day.

Great pictures Leon.
I would love to live in a house with a tower.
You need to get some free webspace to show your best pics BIGGER, or just so you can link them to your blog BIGGER.
