Music
I don't listen to as much music as I used to. Before I got a computer I listened to music to tone down at the end of a work day or to relieve stress. Now I listen to my cds once in a while and sometimes check out online digital stations.
One new station I am experimenting with is Purple Radio from Durham University in the UK. Purple is an eclectic student station similar to others I have listened to. What's nice about it is the clear sound of the live stream. You probably won't find it too profound but it is nice to listen to something live when using the computer.
Lou has an interesting post which deals with Internet music. Check it out.
Books
I just finished Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. It isn't his best book but I enjoyed it. I like having a good book to read.
I haven't decided whether I will continue my Booklist or not. Part of me wants to record the books I read and part of me wonders why. I shall see.
One idea I have is to try an ABC reading project. I would challenge myself by reading an alphabets worth of authors. The first book would be by an author whose last name begins with A the next B and so on. I would also try different genres. If I did this I would almost need a Booklist to keep track.
