After reading the article and thinking about the points listed above I have to agree.
Writing has always allowed me to order my thoughts. Quite often the writing process itself would get my mind creating new ideas. Since University I have had to look for ways to keep writing. Many of the jobs I had didn't require much writing and so my skills became a little rusty.
Blogging has allowed me to reclaim my writing skills and to keep challenging myself.
