Glimpse Is Great

Of the Flickr groups I admin Glimpse is the busiest and most demanding. One of the reasons it is demanding is that people either misunderstand the rules or don't read them.

One of the things I do to help members is post Glimpse Tips and tutorials. I seem to teach a lot online.

Your doing a great job admin'ing the glimpse group Leon. I will admit though that the "requirements" for the group Pic's are too confusing for me. I have read them several times and have decided that my usual, easy pic's of horses or ducks are best suited for me. LOL I would hate to submit a pic to the group and then have admin. Leon review then delete my pic. :( Although I know your just doing your job. ;-)

Here is an easy way to shoot a Glimpse:

1. Find a fence with a hole
2. Look through hole - Can anything be seen.
3. If yes, point camera towards hole - focus on the scene beyond.
4. Take pic.
5. If the frame (fence) takes up more space in the pic than the hole you probably have a glimpse.
6. Don't get arrested for being a peeping tom.:)

keith - the group is an acquired taste. Ya just have to find a hole that points towards them ducks or horses.:)

Now being a peeping Tom through a fence hole is something I can understand! I'll try it next time!
