It must be meme time again in cyberspace. This one is making it's rounds and I'll play along because I love books. Thanks to Lou for passing it on to me.
Number of Books on Shelf
About 70.
Last Book Purchased
Graham Masterton Omnibus containing these novels: Tengu, The Devils Of D-Day, Mirror, and Charnel House.
Last 5 Books Read
- Stone Of Tears - Terry Goodkind - a long fantasy novel with some adult themes.
- The Black Cauldron - Lloyd Alexander - one of my favourite fantasy books from highschool. It's good for all ages.
- The Man Of Gold - M.A.R.Barker - an interesting fantasy/sf set in a very detailed world.
- The Writer's Complete Fantasy Reference - various authors (Writers Digest) - I reread the whole book in stages in the last few months. Great info for writers.
- The Tommy Knockers - Stephen King. What can I say? Long, gory, good and King.
Books That Mean A Lot to Me:
- Lord Of The Rings and Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien
- The Sword Of Shanarra by Terry Brooks
- The Sector General Series by James White
- Dying Of The Light and Sandkings by George R.R. Martin
- If You Can Talk You can Write by Joel Salzman.

Note to people I am passing this on to. You don't have to write a mini-review of the last five as I did. I am just too lazy to write a big book post. I pass this to so many because many of you are book lovers and this will give you something to blog about. Plus I get to see what you're reading.

I visited the blogs I listed above and noted some interesting books.
Sorry Leon, I won't take the baton.
I only read on holidays nowadays, usually about four books for the week, but I can never remember the authors.
No problem Mick.
