Sunny Me

It was nice to get out for a change. I worked a bit and had a nice walk and took pics.

The leaves are starting to fall on some species of trees and others are changing colour. The squirrels are busy hording nuts. Change is coming right on cue since Autumn officially begins tomorrow.

I notice a slight change in myself too. I am accepting changes quietly and looking ahead. I am planning some different blog posts but I am not getting worked up about them. Planning posts can be fun but it takes some of the fun spontaneity of blogging away. When I promise posts to you or myself I feel like I have to deliver and sometimes I don't feel like it. But having plans keeps my mind active and my blogging free of navel gazing.

It's funny that I can be so peaceful here and intolerant in certain situations. Two incidents from the last week made me irritated enough to act.

Yesterday I was checking out the recently updated blogs at Blogger and saw something interesting. I clicked on the blog and read a bit of it and then "flagged" it because of its racist comments. No one should have to read crap like that.

Today I stopped in at the local Chapters bookstore and was offered help by staff three times in ten minutes. I realize they have to do that but it is irritating. I like to browse and will find staff if I need them. Getting hounded by staff every time I change areas of the bookstore doesn't make me want to buy there.

A little irritation is ok. It means I am healthy again.

So today was sunny and so was I. (That sounds so new-age-touchy-feely) I hope I didn't give anyone a tan. :)
