Fast Friday

Friday was Liberation Day in The Netherlands. I was going to write about a related incident that happened to me when I visited the country in 1980. After work I was too tired and couldn't get into the state of mind to do the post justice. I will try to write it this weekend.

Yesterday was hectic and tiring but I enjoyed it for the most part.

In the morning I cleaned up my apartment a little because the complex manager was coming to test the smoke alarm and check other things. Then I rushed off to brunch and then work.

Work went slow at first and then got busy. Things were fine but one incident made me shake my head a bit. Sometimes we get people coming in for help who don't really want it. They can be frustrating to deal with and sometimes abusive. The one yesterday wasn't abusive and I refused to be frustrated. You can't help some people.

I had fun showing showing some coworkers my secret relationship to Napoleon Dynamite. :) "SB" reviewed the movie at 2 Lazy 2 Blog and posted a link to the film's poster. Fintan noticed a background drawing that looked like me. I had to laugh because it DOES look like me.

After work I ate again and came home. I went through the inspection with the complex manager and then went online. I then spent the next few hours being busy.

Online it was hectic and fun. For a while I had 3 chats going on at once. One was short and casual, one was around two hours long and casual, and the last was two hours long and very busy. The last chat led to another blog being created (yes I have too many!).

When I finally went offline I was worn out. I felt good though because I like exchanging ideas and interacting with people. Different types of people have different ideas and attitudes.

I lay down "for a moment" and just woke up. Ha ha. Well, that was my Friday.

Cheers
