A few days ago someone jokingly asked me to act my age. I replied that I was. In truth I was acting my 'spiritual age'.
I think people over forty deserve a break when it comes to age calculation. Our society worships youth and considers ageing a scary topic. Rather than resorting to genetics or other weird methods I offer a simple way to calculate your spiritual age.
This method is based on numerology. The idea is to take your age and add the numbers together and add 20. For someone aged 43, for example, take 4 + 3 = 7 + 20 = 27. This person's spiritual age is 27. Instantly the person transforms from 'phogey' to fox (almost).
The modified age will range from 24 to 38 for people aged 40 to 99. A person will return to some ages repeatedly. For example: the person above would become 27 again at age 52 ( 5 + 2 + 20 = 27).
I could have substituted 'add 10' for 'add 20' but who wants to go through puberty and acne again?
You can still be asked to act your age but now you have some leeway when it comes to expression.
Have Fun!
