Holidone

I got back from Up Island this afternoon. I enjoyed my short trip. I took the bus to Nanaimo where I was met by a friend and we drove to his place. On the way back I rode with my friends who were coming down to visit family.

The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed the scenery. Everything is so green and ready to burst into bloom. Of course the Cherry Trees are already blooming – having bloomed a week early. The water was also interesting because the short herring fishing season is in full swing. Hordes of boats are out in the bays as are clouds of seagulls.

I was able to visit with my friends and play with their dogs. Puppy therapy is great now and again.
