Last night I finished 'Catastrophe: An Introduction Into The Origins Of The Modern World' by David Keys. I found it interesting, informative, and easy to read. The book provided me with new ideas to explore and think about. You can read more about it here.
Finishing this book puts me at 30 books or 10,320 pages read so far this year. My goal, as part of the 100 Books Club, is to read 100 books or 25,000 pages. I am enjoying this challenge.
Now I will update my Booklist and start another book.
I found one of my old paper journals and looked at all of the scraps of poetry written there. Some of it may be useful. Every once in a while I would laugh as I saw some of the ideas that I had abandoned. A note about the context of these fragments would be interesting to read.
I am posting another old poem to Roar. I usually post one or two a day. This way I can putter with the blog every so often and not have it 'stagnate' between ideas.

Wow I didn't realize you had other sites. I loved your 12 Things to do when Depressed (I think that's what it was called), anyway good advice!
I used to have a 100 Books Club on my site but took it down. I managed a whole two books and haven't had a chance to read one since - how bad is that? I hung onto the list so maybe as the kids get older and I get more time, I'll try it again.
Re: 100 Book club? That's interesting. Details?
Re: 12 Things.
Where's that? Sounds interesting.
Kim: You are still exercising your reading skills. Look at your blogroll!
Joel: Details on 100 book club via link above. 12 ways posted at Roar - link above.
