I saw a couple with two small children cross the crosswalk on a green light. There were no cars in sight when they started to cross. However, horns were blaring as the two kids were about three quarters to the other side. Apparently mommy and daddy thought the kids old enough to find their own way across the street.

Isn't it both the law and common sense to let pedestrians always have the right of way when crossing the street regardless of the light? Hmmm. Human body versus car. Guess who'd "win" if one hits the other....
Kim-they made it across ok. Joel- What bothered me about this was that the parents jogged across the road with the kids trailing behind. Yes, the pedestrian always has right of way, but stupidity can kill.
