You will notice another guestbook in my sidebar. I am experimenting with Blogtools and will switch over completely from Dreambook this week. Why? Dreambook is great and I have never had a problem with it, but Blogtools works fine and is made locally. In fact it is made by Laura - Jane's boyfriend Cameron.
Blogtools also makes a comment system that rivals Haloscan or Blogger comments. Without the slooowdown of Haloscan. Laura -Jane has been using it in various forms on her blog for a while.
So check out some fine free tools.

Thank you for the link and for potentially switching your guestbook! Is it wrong to be so excited about these things?

I just modified 'Firemind's Guestbook' and it was easy. I guess my old fathful dreambook will have to go. Sigh.
