I posted some new pictures at flickr. Plants, seals, and other goodies just begged me to photograph them. I am saving up for a Pro account. I never expected to publish 100 photos and I have reached the free limit. My older pics don't disappear they just can't be seen in my 'photostream'.
The questions and comments have been interesting. Several people have asked about the alcoves. There might be something written about them at UVic. They are located at the end of Fort Street at Wharf. There is a big parking lot down by some wharfs. Harbour Air has a terminal there. It is an interesting area.
Today has been slow. I uploaded some pictures and read some blogs. My most ambitious activity was making lunch.

Amazing... I lived in Victoria for four years, and I had been to Fort and Wharf many a time, but I never really NOTICED these. I am sure I have SEEN them, but I never noticed them at all.
Next time I am down there I am going to definitely take a look.
