Books And Cameras

I finished a good science fiction book yesterday. 'The Wreck Of The River Of Stars' by Michael Flynn tells of the series of natural and human-made disasters that befall a tramp freighter en route to Jupiter. The story is interesting and has great characters.

I am now reading 'The Great And Secret Show' by Clive Barker. I am enjoying it so far. It really strikes me odd to come from a SF or Fantasy story and then read a novel set in our time. The setting and motifs are so familiar that I am far into the book before I realize that it is easier to read than the previous book.

I have been talking to people about digital cameras. My friend and I discussed his camera and he sent some info to me. I have also been reading reviews at Digital Photography Review and Steve's Digicams. It is fun to learn new things.

It is nice out so I am off to take pictures and get exercise. ( I guess I could set up an exercise bike in front of my computer to exercise and blog – nah, I need the fresh air.)
