I was censored!

I had an interesting and busy day. I will write more later but I'll say this: I got censored by security at a movie shoot today.

A crew were filming at Broughton and Broad near Pagliacci's when I was uptown around lunchtime. I decided to try to get one or two pics before heading to volunteer and used the zoom telephoto. I took one pic and wondered about another when a security type came up and asked who I was with. I said no one and he asked me to not photograph the crew - ie: anything related to the film. No problem - I got one pic and that satisfied my need to "get something".

Maybe I can sell it on eBay! (pffft!)

If it was a public area he probably (I don't know Canadian Law) had no right to stop you.

Mick - I could have ignored his request since (as you said) it was a public place. But, I had things to do and I have spent too many years doing security myself to be an ass over something trivial. Now if there was a neat fire or explosion...
