Fire In My Mind (The Firemind Song)

Fire in my mind burnin' bright,

The urge to blog can be a fright,

When it holds your mind so tight.

Yes, I'm go-in' to write.

Yes, I'm go-in',

to write.

Fire in my mind burnin' low,

The words are formin' in a row,

Where they'll take me, I don't know,

But I'm wil-lin' to go.

But I'm wil-lin',

to go.

Fire in my mind burnin' bright,

Monitor glare - my only light,

The keyboard clickin' late at night.

God this fe-els so right.

God this fe-els,

So right.

Sometimes music pops into my head. This morning I kept singing this and wrote down some lyrics. I worked on it this afternoon and here it is. I probably won't play with it any more - I am a blogger, not a musician.

Tiger, tiger, burning bright.

Seriously, that's a silky-smooth jingle you got going on there!

Poompa - weird like me.:) It relates to my nickname Firemind and how I write (see this.)

Jon - Funny you should mention that poem - it's one of my favourites. I haven't thought about it -at least consciously - for a while. I am not sure if I have 'fearful symetry.:)

Thanks guys.

Sounds to me like the Pacman theme song that my guitar teacher told me about. I don't know why, though.
