Milestones: Part 1

I am finally getting around to writing this celebratory post. June 26 was this blog's second blogiversary and this is my 600th post. I wrote about a lot of interesting things in the last year. I will mention some of them.

In July, 2004, I experimented with audioblogger and found it fun. I haven't used the feature too much but there are a few gems hidden in my posts.

In August I tried something different. I hosted an Online Potluck. It was a fun community building activity that will be held again this year. Keep an eye out for the announcement.

Who could have predicted how my blogging would change in September. On September 1st, 2004, I posted my first Blogging For Luke entry. As the month passed I went from reporting about Luke and his dad's blogging to becoming part of the story by helping Gordy and getting Luke's story out. It was an amazing and busy time. I wrote over 21 posts about Luke in September.

Luke influenced my blog in many ways. I posted my very first picture to Firemind in a post called Teddy Bears For Luke. Later on I posted a poem for Luke. I still visit his parents blog to see how he is doing.

To be continued.

Finally!! (at least 1/2 is done). Trying to get a big post done when you are ill is a pain. More to come later.

Wow! 600 posts is certainly a milestone. The variety in your posts on this blog is one of the main things I like about firemind2. Keep up the good work! Hope you feel better soon.

Congrat's on your 600th. Heck, I can hardly count that high. Way to go! Looking forward to the next 600.
