I took a partial break from writing yesterday. What I did instead was work at my volunteer job and visit with online friends. It was a social day in many different ways.
I have always been a fan of good communication. Yesterday, I connected with coworkers and touched base with blogfriends. Two of my online conversations were quick of the "hello, how are you" type discussions. The other two IM sessions were fun and quite different from each other.
One IM discussion was based around watching videos. Sometimes we laughed over how bad some were. Sometimes we enjoyed what we watched. I have lots of ideas for my next cinema.
The second IM discussion was a good old heart to heart talk. It is nice to share ideas and just communicate with one another. People are interesting if we just stop and listen to them for a moment.
Some of the discussion with friends involved the latest contest at 2 Lazy 2 Blog. Ideas were passed around and rules clarified. I think this is going to be a quite fun.
I really enjoyed my time with friends. I am tired now, but feel content. I feel connected. I feel I belong.
