I removed both the Voice Comments and the Meebo Me widgets and republished my whole blog. I then re-added the Voice Comments to the Phone Me! post and then re-added the IM to my sidebar. I republished the "index only" this time and everything seems fine. We shall see.
The problem may not have been the widgets at all since Blogger has been having problems.
I got frustrated when Blogger locked up again so I went to my experimental beta-blogger blog and posted there.
