Christmas is coming and some businesses are starting to get decorated. These are the 'sensible' ones. Others have been decorated and playing Christmas music for over a month. I was in The Bay on Halloween and it was all christmasy already. Bah humbug!
I realize that retailers have to have time to prepare for Christmas but I get tired of the hype and the music. We spend one twelfth of our lives being concerned about Christmas. No wonder children are so hyper by mid December – everyone around them is buying into the hype and 'spirit'. Bah humbug!
To all of this early bird holiday cheer I say 'Bah Humbug' – at least until the 15th or so then I will join in the festivities.
