The last few days I have been relaxing, playing Civ 3, and reading. Other than that I haven't been doing much. I feel as if I am trying to get some solitary calm time before the 'Christmas Storm' of parties and people.
It has been nice to finish some of the books I started to read a while ago and interrupted for fiction. I restarted 'The Gutenberg Revolution' by John Man and finished it last night. This interesting book talks about the invention of the printing press and the changes that occurred as a result of it.
I finished 'Fire Time' by Poul Anderson the other day. It is an interesting story about war and the interaction of cultures.
My parents sent some gift certificates for Christmas. Some of that money will go for books. I may buy a book about Christianity and one about Evolution. My mind always looks for knowledge in the weirdest places.
