Me? Shy?

Communication is easy for me. I can usually hold my own in conversations and have even been known to babble like a sportscaster on speed.

Sometimes though, certain people and situations make me lock up. I notice that I am being shy and I get slightly embarrassed because of it. This makes me think about where I am and who I am with. Things become a little more focused. An ordinary, forgettable, situation is remembered because of my hesitation.

Being shy may be a way to deal with a mundane situation I can't be bothered to pursue. But one that was interesting enough to catch my attention.
